Volkswagen CC 2014
The CC is a Passat-sized sedan wrapped in a dramatic and stylish four-door coupe-like body with flowing lines and a bold face.
Get bold, sporty looks from the bold, sporty lines of the 2014 Volkswagen CC R-Line model. This premium sedan features a race- inspired body kit, including a more aggressive side skirt and front bumper design that incorporates a large lower air intake and projector-style foglights. It also features 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, R-Line badging, and interior styling cues for the final touch.
The base 2014 Volkswagen CC comes standard with 12-way power-adjustable heated front seats, Bluetooth phone and audio streaming, a touch-screen navigation system, dual-zone automatic climate control and an eight-speaker audio system. Features available on higher trims include leather seats, a sunroof, a hands-free trunk feature, which lets you open the trunk by waving your foot under the bumper, keyless entry with push-button start, a 10-speaker Dynaudio sound system and front and rear parking sensors.
The CC is powered by the larger of Volkswagen's new turbocharged four-cylinder engines: a 2.0-liter TSI engine that uses direct injection to generate 200 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. Like the 1.8 TSI engine in the Passat, the CC's torque curve peaks low in the the tachometer's swing, generating maximum grunt as low as 1,700rpm.
The 2014 Volkswagen CC comes with standard stability control, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and six airbags (front, front side and full-length side curtain). Every 2014 CC is offered with VW's Car-Net telematics, which includes security and connectivity features such as crash notification, roadside assistance, remote vehicle access and enhanced point-of-interest (POI) service.
The 2014 CC starts at $31,795 for the Sport model, but the 2014 VW Passat CC Executive 2.0T's as-tested price of $37,860 included all of the aforementioned features as well as an $865 destination charge.
