2014 Nissan 370Z

The Nissan 370Z coupe and convertible are unchanged for the 2014 model year. The 370Z Nismo receives minor appearance updates, including dark gray coloring for the front and rear fascias, side sills, mirrors and rear spoiler. Solid Red replaces Magma Red as an exterior color choice, and the interior features a red NISMO tachometer, along with a new steering wheel with Alcantara appointments and red accents.

In an era when all cars seem to be growing bigger, the 2014 Nissan 370Z remains tidy. The low stance is snug to the road, the flared fenders and cantilevered roof give it a purposeful look, and it's all enhanced with the available Sport Package, which includes front and rear spoilers and bigger tires and wheels. The higher-performance Nismo version includes more aerodynamically-influenced shapes, including a larger front spoiler and rear wing. For those who like to motor in the open air, the Roadster's power-operated top neatly stows underneath a hard cover.

NISMO took the somewhat bland 370Z front end and bolted to it an extended front nose and integrated chin spoiler. Not only does this make the car look more dynamic with its gray and red accents against the white body paint, it also makes the 370Z grippier. The nose and spoiler are carefully formed to increase airflow to the engine and also improve downforce, which uses wind resistance to push the car against the pavement, boosting tire traction.

Front-mid engined, rear-wheel driven, with 332 horsepower on tap from its 3.7-liter V-6, the 370Z moves into the 2014 model year with no changes except for the NISMO variant. Drivers get their choice of a six-speed manual transmission with SynchroRev automatic rev-matching or a seven-speed automatic with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

The combination of Nismo-tuned shocks and springs and forged, 19-inch wheels from RAYS makes for a ride that is too firm for the street. On Michigan's sub-par roads, the Nismo Z heaves and hops about with excessive amounts of vertical motion, plenty of impact noises and generally poor manners on all but the smoothest of roads. Unless you have a racetrack in your back yard or live in a land where the roads are made of silk, the Nismo Z is simply too stiff to use as a daily driver.

The 2014 Nissan 370Z’s standard features include automatic climate control, push-button start and a four-speaker audio system with an auxiliary audio jack. A backup camera, navigation and Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity are among the 370Z’s optional features.

Every 2014 Nissan 370Z comes standard with antilock brakes, traction and stability control and side airbags. The coupe gets side curtain airbags, while the Roadster's side airbags extend upward for head protection. A rearview camera is available via the Navigation package offered on Touring models.
Nissan has revealed the base pricing for the 2014 370Z Nismo. It will come in at the same price it did in 2013: $43,020.

The Nissan 370Z is a sports car manufactured by Nissan Motors.The Nissan 370Z is a brilliant sports car with a strong performance value ratio.
The 2013 Nissan 370Z base and Touring models come standard with a 3.7-liter V6 that produces 332 hp and 270 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard. Optional transmissions include a seven-speed automatic with shift paddles on the steering wheel and the SynchroRev Match manual transmission (included with the Sport package). The latter automatically blips the throttle during downshifts to deliver smoother, quicker shifts with better dynamic control of the chassis, which not only maximizes performance but also makes you sound like a certified pro driver.

Like the standard 370Z Coupe, the Nismo 370z exterior also includes a wide stance, sculptural fenders, upswept quarter windows, bold "boomerang" shaped headlights and taillights, vertical door handles, heated outside mirrors, and aluminum hood, door panels and hatchback.  The headlights are a High Intensity Discharge , bi-functional xenon design with an auto on/off feature. The NISMO 370Z is offered in just five exterior colors: Pearl White, Brilliant Silver, Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic and new Magma Red.

The interior is attractive and comfortable. The driver's seat is designed to keep the driver in place. The black fabric that comes standard looks and feels sporty while the optional perforated leather is beautiful. There's also a synthetic suede. The instrument panel moves with the adjustable steering column, while the steering wheel spokes are designed to provide a clear view. The gauges are big and clear, white on black with orange needles.
Standard features include 18-inch wheels, automatic bi-xenon headlights, LED running lights, heated mirrors, keyless ignition/entry, cruise control, automatic climate control, an eight-way manual driver seat, a leather-wrapped tilt-only steering wheel (with corresponding moving gauges) and a four-speaker sound system with a CD player and an auxiliary audio jack. The Roadster differs only by its power-operated soft top.

The 2013 Nissan 370Z's long list of standard safety and security features includes the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System wîth dual stage supplemental front air bags wîth seat belt sensors and occupant classification sensor  front seat mounted side impact supplemental air bags roof mounted side impact air bags seat belts wîth pretensioners and load limiters, Active Head Restraints, Zone Body Construction wîth front and rear crumple zones, Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System, Vehicle Security System and Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

The Nissan NISMO 370Z Coupe starts at $43,020, quite a reasonable price for a 2013 sports coupe, which costs $49,600 on average.
