Honda NC700X.

                                                             Honda NC700X.
The Honda NC700 series is a family of motorcycles produced by Honda since 2012.The NC700 series is classed as a commuter model bike which has incorporated design and mechanical elements from various motorcycle types. The riding position is similar to naked bike styles. There is helmet-sized internal storage in place of the traditional fuel tank which is instead located under the seat. The Honda NC700X is equipped with a 670cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin, SOHC engine with four valves per cylinder. The motorcycle is offered in two versions namely one with a conventional six-speed, manual-clutch transmission, and the other with automatic transmission. The Honda NC700X offers an average fuel consumption of 64 mpg.As with the engine, the NC700 handling feels effortless. The engine is carried low in the frame and there's an empty space for yor helmet/shopping where the tank should be giving the bike a low centre of gravity. Suspension is budget but the forks are damped strongly enough to give feel and hold the bike under heavy braking.Just about every aspect of the NC700X is unconventional, but the heart of this adventure bike-styled machine is different from anything Honda has offered to date, in a motorcycle at least. The 670cc Parallel Twin lays forward at 62 degrees and features a long stroke design with a 80mm stroke and 73mm bore diameter. This gives the NC’s powerplant a linear yet torquey engine character. In order to gain efficiency the pistons have a low-fiction coating and the valvetrain features lightweight aluminum roller-rocker arms. A single 36mm throttle body meters out the combustible air/gas mixture straight through the downdraft style intake tract, for a claimed 64mpg. That’s approaching scooter fuel economy territory. The motorcycle’s stopping power is offered by a single 320mm disc with two-piston caliper which is paired with a rear single 240mm disc with single-piston caliper. The Honda NC700X comes with a 3.7 gallons fuel tank and rides on 120/70ZR17 front and 160/60ZR17 rear radial tyres.
