Lamborghini Reventon.
Lamborghini Reventon.
The Lamborghini Reventon is a supersport automobile produced by the Italian manufacturer Lamborghini, between the years 2007 and 2008. It debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt auto show.
The instrument panel in the Reventon comprises three TFT liquid crystal displays (LCDs) with two different display modes. The instruments are housed in a structure milled from a solid aluminium block protected by a carbon fiber casing. The car's instrumentation includes a G-Force-Meter which displays the magnitude and direction of the g-forces acting upon the car. The seats of the Reventon are black leather and brown Alcantara.
The Reventon features an all-new carbon fiber exterior. All Reventons have the same exterior color described as mid opaque grey without the usual shine.
Lamborghini has also picked up some of parent company Audi's design language. It is the first Lamborghini to incorporate daylight running lights into the headlamps. Seven light-emitting diodes (LEDs) at each headlamp flank the bi-Xenon main beam and stay lit whenever the car is in movement. Due to the high temperatures in the rear lower part of the car special heatproof LEDs are used for the indicator and hazard lights stoplights and rear lights with a triple arrow optical effect.
Lamborghini Reventon incorporates a LP 670-4 engine, which is one of the high capacity engine of its type. Loaded with 12 cylinders, the engine is capable of providing excellent acceleration to the car. The engine is available in petrol and another version based on diesel will also be introduced by the company soon. Its engine power is quite high and totals to be 650hp. Reventon is capable to run at a top speed of 205mph. The car can reach its maximum speed in just 6.5 seconds. The Lamborghini Reventon has a stock top speed of 330 kmh (205 mph).It has quick acceleration and a very high output. The handling is very precise and stable though it tends to be a bit stiff at some points which can make it understeer when entering corners.
If you're a Lamborghini fan the Reventon is the ultimate. Think of it as the extra-special limited-edition extended-cut DVD box set of your favorite movie. Unfortunately there's a catch -- the car costs $1.4 million, and the company only made 20 of them. On top of that, they're already sold out. The Reventon is also the ultimate in exclusivity the most expensive Lamborghini to date so don't expect to see one on display at your local showroom.
