Noble M600.

                                               Noble M600.

The Noble M600 is a handbuilt British supercar made by Noble Automotive in Leicestershire. It is made from stainless steel and carbon fibre and uses a twin turbocharged Volvo V8.
Noble is currently producing a new car under the name of the Noble M600. It will have a Volvo twin-turbocharged V8 engine (producing 650 bhp (485 kW,650ps) a carbon fibre body shell, and a 6-speed gear box made by Yamaha. It will compete in the same category as the Ferrari F430. The 2,800-pound M600 can accelerate from 0–62.1 mph in 3.5 seconds and require only another 4 seconds to achieve 100mph. It has over 1G of grip on the skid pad. The brake disks in the Noble M600 are steel.
Noble M600 adds a pair of turbochargers 15 lbs of boost and puts peak power up at 650 horsepower. Tthe car can be switched to either 550 or 450 horsepower settings.
A six-speed manual transmission is the gearbox available in the M600 which fits with the design idea of simple and driver controlled.

M600, like any true super car has no cosmetic exterior trimming. Body has been designed keeping aerodynamics and stability in mind solely. Designers chiseled out every single hindrance in the path of wind. Car is built of stainless steel and carbon fiber with carbon laminated exterior. This has provided it with maximum rigidity along with sufficient lightness. Majority of outside body styling is result of full-fledged wind-tunnel test statistics. Dimension-wise, M600 is 4360 mm long and 1910 mm wide with wheelbase of 2540 mm and a curb weight of around 1275 kg.

The quality of the leatherwork on the car’s interior is outstanding. The blend of twin-tone hide, glossy carbonfibre and bespoke instruments and switchgear is a success too, and although the pedals are slightly offset to the left, the driving position is good; the steering column adjusts for rake and reach, the seat for reach only. Behind the carbonfibre-topped gearlever there’s a rotary switch machined from billet aluminium, like those for the heating and ventilation but this one has a red face and three settings. It’s a sort of simple version of Ferrari’s manettino and sets the power level by adjusting boost pressure. "Road" gives 0.6bar boost and 450bhp Track gives 0.8bar and 550bhp and Race the full 1.0bar and 650bhp. Between the instruments is a small panel that shows which setting is selected ‘Road’ illuminated green, ‘Track’ orange and ‘Race’ red.
