2013 Audi A7 details,review,price

2013 Audi A7
The Audi A7 four-door-coupe offers a superb balance of style and comfortable versatility. The A7 is essentially mechanically identical to the considerably less costly A6 midsize sedan. But unless blending in is your priority, the A7 makes a strong case for itself with inspired, almost Italianate sheetmetal that apes the sleek roofline of a sports car.

The 2013 Audi A7 has the trademark oversized hexagonal grille and LED running lights, and the body lines are similarly standard Audi issue. But the A7 distinguishes itself in the roofline, which cuts low over the rear windows and tapers all the way to the tail.It looks great but does ask occupants to duck when entering the rear seat. The A7's 4-door-coupe design with clean styling in a way entirely consistent with Audi's brand character. The faster and meaner S7 is identified by subtle badging and trim and 1-inch-larger wheels.

The 2013 Audi S7 is powered the same engine found in the Audi S6, a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that cranks out 420 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. It's paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Quattro all-wheel drive comes standard. Audi claims the S7 has a 0-60 mph time of just 4.5 seconds. Also like the S6, the S7 uses cylinder-deactivation technology to improve fuel economy. But performance doesn't come cheap, as the S7 starts at more than $18,000 more than the base A7.

The 2013 Audi A7 comes with a sunroof, tri-zone climate control, push-button start, rain-sensing windshield wipers and a 10-speaker stereo with satellite radio, Bluetooth and a USB port. Options and features available on higher trims include four-zone automatic climate control, Bose or Bang & Olufsen sound systems, a backup camera with parking sensors, adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring and lane keeping assist systems. The available MMI navigation system comes with Audi Connect, which turns the A7 into a wireless hotspot. The A7 will also use the data connection to update navigation routes and conditions by using data provided by Google Maps. MMI also comes with a touch pad that allows you to write out a destination or phone number with your fingertip rather than typing it into the system.

Standard safety features for the 2013 Audi A7 include antilock brakes, traction and stability control, front knee airbags, front side airbags and side curtain airbags. Optional features include rear side airbags, a blind-spot warning system, front and rear collision warning/mitigation systems and an infrared night-vision display.

Audi cars are luxurious and technologically advanced cars. While higher-end models like the R8 start at $115,400, Audi car prices are primarily within the $28,095 to $76,975 range (starting prices).
