MV Agusta F4R 2013.
Advanced technology and styling are core components of the MV Agusta DNA, clearly visible in the new F4 R. The list of the MV original special parts has no end, special materials and technological components of the latest generation allow you to increase the performance of new F4 R even more as well as the possibility to personalize it aesthetically.
F4 R utilizes a race specification ohlins, again fully adjustable. ohlins suspension with electronic control allows the driver to choose between different setups directly from the dashboard. As aforementioned there are specific modes of power delivery for the four cylinder engine; the pilot, however, may also adjust the suspension in a completely autonomous way from the engine maps. The system provides separate control for compression damping and rebound damping, while customizing the spring preload is manual. The electronic steering damper allows to choose between manual or automatic adjustment, in which case the response varies as a result of vehicle speed.
MV Agusta F4 R is powered by a 998cc Inline-4 engine that's capable of producing 195 horsepower. The 13.4:1 compression ratio is high enough to put it in the top 10% of 2013 sport bike motorcycles. A bore and stroke of 79 x 50.9mm makes this motor oversquare.
The 2013 MV Agusta F4 R boosts new design language which includes a re-proportioned and lighter "signature" four exit silencer, new lightweight forged wheels and a new front spoiler integrated into the front fairing with DRL (Daylight Running Lights).
The F4 1000 R also has upgraded Brembo Monobloc radial brakes, forged black Brembo wheels, a carbon-nitride coated Marzocchi upside down fork and an upgraded Sachs rear shock absorber (compression & rebound damping adjustable in high & low speed range).
The 2013 F4 starts at $16,990, a bit more expensive than the industry average for a member of the 1000cc class of 2013 sport bike motorcycles (the average price is $14,800).
