Lamborghini Ferruccio

                              Lamborghini Ferruccio.

The Lamborghini Ferruccio concept is inspired by all of the company’s headline V12 cars. The steeply raked front screen and hood were inspired by the Countach, as was the super-wide rear end. Hostler says that the rounded shapes of the front and rear wings were inspired by the sleek, curving, feminine lines of the Miura. It’s styling is so aggressive and aerodynamic it wouldn’t look out of place bolted underneath a jet fighter. Which is fitting, as the car’s third inspiration is the new Aventador and the limited edition Reventon. Both of which feature Lamborghini’s current “stealth fighter” design language.

The machine used is V12 Twin Turbo 5.0 liter capacity was menjadu reference for Holster design concept car that is similar to the mix of figures passing race car in the movie Speed Racer and Batman. Unique is the machine does not use the return / camshaft to operate the valve opening and closing, but the system uses computer controlled pneumatic solenoid. The control system of opening and closing the valve with pneumatic technology was originally applied to a F1 racing car engine rev the engine is able to achieve the 10000rpm. With this system, the performance of the open-close valve more light making it ideal to use on high-performance engines, especially turbo engines. This machine is capable of producing more than 600-hp with a maximum torque of 620-650 Nm.

According to the designer, the concept is "a car that takes inspiration from the company’s lineage, and also showcases the current design language and innovations of the company in their trademark flamboyant style." The concept’s front end, bonnet, and super-wide rear end were inspired by the Countach . The front and rear wings were inspired by the Miura , while the sharp nose and mirrors, and aggressive air intakes across the body and roof take their inspiration from the current Lamborghini design language.

Hostler created the Ferruccio's steep front windshield to mimic the Countach and the design language is said to reflect the Miura. "The Ferruccio is a car designed to showcase both the past and future of Lamborghini, showing how new design and technologies blend seamlessly with the company's rich heritage and history," said Hostler of his creation. The technological aspect comes in the form of efficient parts and pieces. Motivation comes in the form of a more fuel-efficient 5.0-liter V12 complete with direct injection, camless valve system and 'several turbochargers.'
