Aston Martin DBRS9.
The Aston Martin DBRS9 was developed by the British Prodrive and launched in January 2006 . It is a downsized version of the DBR9 . The car is built according to the regulations of the FIA GT3 .
Outside and in, the DBRS9 drips with carbon fiber. All bodywork save the aluminum roof and tub are crafted from the composite, as are interior pieces like the dashboard and inner door panels. Also inside is a comprehensive roll cage to protect the driver and provide a stiff chassis for the fully adjustable independent suspension and stellar braking system which includes massive 380mm front discs and 313mm rear discs clamped by Brembo six and four piston calipers, respectively.

Front brakes are huge 380mm discs with Brembo six piston callipers, the rears are 313mm with four pistons but these can be replaced with carbon brakes as an option. Another option is a passenger seat so the owner/driver can impress a potential race sponsor.
DBRS9 is a roll cage , carbon fiber body panels and a stripped interior to save weight, a sportier suspension and a tuned version of the six-liter V12 with 550 hp.the DBRS9 mainly used in small, national championships with shorter races.
The transmission is a more conventional six speed manual with floor mounted H pattern shift and shorter gear ratios. As an option, a six speed sequential can be fitted. The suspension has been lowered and the double wishbone suspension has been rose jointed and fitted with two-way adjustable Koni dampers and stiffened competition springs.
The DBRS9 retails for private teams for the price of 175,000 pounds, a lot cheaper than the DBR9 so.In 2007 this car nearly won the 24 Hours of Nurburgring , 2 hours before the end there was a problem with the fuel.
