2013 Aprilia Shiver 750.

                                    2013 Aprilia Shiver 750.

The Aprilia Shiver 750 is a naked bike manufactured by Italian motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia. The motorcycle incorporates Ride by Wire Technology and a 90° V-twin engine.

Ergonomics, brakes, & suspension are all “sporty standard” as opposed to a harder-edged “sport naked” like the Tuono V4. And the Shiver has some deluxe appointements, such as radially-mounted 4-piston dual front disc brakes, adjustable single-shock rear suspension, upside-down front forks, adjustable hand levers, hydraulic clutch, and stainless steel brake hoses.
With a dry weight of just 189 kg, the lightness of the Aprilia Shiver 750 also satisfies the most canny motorcyclist. Its manoeuvrability and engine performance enable the bike to accompany its owner from his first few metres on two wheels up to his complete motorcycling maturity.

The frame and engine, both brand new, are the foundations of the design and are also, rightly, the main elements characterising the look of the Shiver 750. Each element has been designed to be not just beautiful but also functional. The design is refined, but at the same time clean-cut, without too many frills for the maximum possible functionality. The Aprilia Shiver 750 exhaust is also a very distinctive design element.  On the Aprilia Shiver 750, the technical component becomes a design element at the same time, creating a bike both aggressive and at the same time elegant.

The Aprilia V90 engine delivers an exceptional power output for its size and configuration. Maximum power of 95 HP at 9,000 rpm and maximum torque of 81 Nm at 7,000 rpm are incredible figures for an engine of this displacement. Impressive torque, already available at low revs, makes riding the Shiver 750 on country roads an amazing experience.

As Aprilia tradition demands, the SHIVER’S chassis is simply unique in this class of motorcycle. The innovative, mixed trellis and aluminium frame delivers standard-setting rigidity to guarantee safety and precision control in the hands of inexperienced riders as well as experts. Thanks in part to this amazing frame, the new SHIVER weighs in at only 189 kg.
The Shiver 750 is 89.17 inches long and 31.49 inches wide. The wheelbase comes in at 56.7 inches, shorter than average in this segment. A seat height of 31.5 inches is only 0.60 inches higher than the average motorcycle, making it manageable for riders of most heights.
The 2013 Shiver 750 costs $9,499, a reasonable price to pay for a member of the class of 2013 standard motorcycles (the average price is $13,240). A 24-month factory warranty from Aprilia helps protect new buyers.
